God goes all things for His own glory. Beyond that, I really don't know.

With regard to children, that's an issue my wife and I have had to deal with as we miscarried a few years back. Here's my take on that...let me preface it by saying this is a topic for which the Bible is not explicit (in my opinion)...

Some say that there is a point/age at which a person is mentally able to make a decision. Prior to that, if he or she dies, they will end up in Heaven. This would include disabled people as well. I have a little difficulty with that. Mainly becuase there is nothing in scripture that would support that position.

Here is what I believe. I beleive God elects/chooses those who will believe (this is sure to start another long thread.) There are many issues in that one statement - to get to your question, I'll skip all that for now. If God has elected the infant/disabled person, then that person will spend eternity with Him. If not, that person will spend eternity in Hell.
