If the UN gets involved there is a good chance that nothing will be resolved. A few “sanctions”, and the Iranian nuclear program will continue as if it was business as usual.
Now there is a good chance that Israel will stop the Iranian nuclear program as it did before. That would allow the world to condemn Israel. The Arabs and Iranians would continue to hate Israel, and there would be the same tension that there has been since Israel became a country. Some day this area is going to POP!
