The language I programmed in thru 2002 was APL, which was at best a speck in the programming universe, even compared to FoxPro.
>Cobol was "dead" over 20 years ago, but it's still here. The difference is that Cobol was a language supported by dozens of developer tools on multiple platforms. Fox is a single product from a single company. Yes, long after Microsoft stops publishing Fox, there will be Fox-based products developed and supported. But it's after-life will be much shorter than Cobol (which still has companies producing developer tools).
