In the form's iLayer ie. iForm.BeforeSave(). But the essestial thing is that right now iForm.BeforeSave() is able to only display the cForm.BeforeSave() [parent class's] errors. In fact if I have not specifically populated the error message I want to display the generic cannot save message as soon as I encounter a return .F. from the a or My Layers.

I was composing this message and got hung on a long clients phone, when I received you next message, so I guess the first statement of your recent message nullifies the above explanation but nevertheless I will take up your time in posting this message.
