Hi Bret,
I think you may have missed the point of my post<s>.
If you look at Alexander's original post, he is looking for a solution with regard to Word 97 - he was not primarily looking for a third party solution. Although, if he needed to resort to one, we could. In his case, he does not need to spend the extra $'s for FoxSpell.
Thats pretty good advice, tell the guy to spend extra $'s when he does not have to....<s>
Obviously, if the client does not have Word 97 - then yes - that would be an issue. Then again, there are two sorts of problems - real and perceived. As a generic solution - you have a real issue with regard to making sure everyone has Word. Then again, it might not be a problem. Consider the PalmPilot desktop software - it's expense tracking is all predicated on the fact that you have Excel.
A perceived problem is one where in theory - an issue would exist - but practically speaking - as in Alexander's case - no issue exists because folks have Word - which appears to be his preference.
So, while in theory you have brought up a problem - it is probably a perceived one - not real one.
