I have a new machine with VFP 8.0 installed. Have a couple of configuration problems that I am hoping that you may be able to help me with, both related to the status bar ...

1. Where running a count from command box, the status bar does not display the count result regardless of TALK being ON or OFF.

2. The status bar is not showing the current table alias - simply remaining blank. Again, this is regardless of TALK setting.
