Last thursday I ran into a dotnet issue. It spent probably 5 hours trying to track down a solution. Visited many, many websites dedicated to dotnet problems. Searched messages, searched whitepapers, posted messages, and whatever else you can think of. Didn't have to spend 1 dime.

This is the only website I'm aware of that charges.
