>A customer just upgraded their network by removing Citrix and the Wyse Winterms and replaceing them with all new Dell Optiplex workstations. Since the change, my VFP app is running dramatically slower when executing an SQL Select. Procedures that used to take seconds are now taking minutes. I initially thought the problem was the temp file locations. In a Citrix/Winterm environment, all the workstations treat the file server as the C: drive. I have changed the program so that temp files are created on individual workstations, and the tables are stored on \\Server\FXAPP (home directory for the application).

>I have never run into this problem before and needless to say the customer isn't thrilled. I don't know if this is a problem with the Network configuration, a programming problem, or something else. The network admin has MS OneCare loaded on all of the workstations. The Norton antivirus program on the file server has been there back to the Citrix cobnfig.

Try to switch off Processor Hyper-Threading and see what happens. Sometimes that instead of increase the speed it visible slows it down. Also
