You have expressed my opinion exactly. Right on the nose. I am glad I saw your message before posting a nearly identical one of my own.

As you know, the protesters want a boycott of the EEU, extending their objection to the work of one Dutch cartoonist to the entire European continent. I just have one question: HOW DUMB CAN YOU GET?! Here is what nobody seems willing to say in our (Americans') ongoing state of fear and paranoia since 9/11, wanting to be "respectful" of Islam. We don't want to offend, gosh, no. Well, guess what? The militant face of Islam, the virulently anti-Western part, consists of a smattering of intelligent leaders like Osama bin Ladin -- I'll give him that, that bastard, he had a plan and he's made his mark -- and exponentially more who are dumb, poorly educated cannon fodder. They go to school, if they go to school at all, at Islamically controlled learning centers that are long on indoctrination and short on education. "Woo, woo, woo!" the alums shout to the cameras, their heads back, open mouthed like monkeys. We should be scared?

They consider this a holy war. Bring 'em on, then. If these ignorant brainwashed zealots want to bring their anxieties and accumulated anger, their reluctance to leave the Middle Ages, to our shores, hit them back so hard they won't know what hit them. May they commune with the sand. In a way I regret what would happen to the essentially innocent foot soldiers but if we attack this beast at the head directly, as we should, they won't be back. We need to stop living in fear. We need to get back in touch with our warrior spirit.
