I posted this last night in the 'Troubleshooting' section, but it must have vaporized between hither and yon, so...
It recently came to my attention that I am unable to 'see' the majority of OLE apps on my system from VFP5. When I try to place an OLE Bound control, the list of OLE types currently consists of nothing but Win95 types (.avi video, .wav audio, etc). I have MS Office installed (among others) and know that at one time I could see the OLE types associated with those apps, but no more.
I have tried reinstalling Win95, VFP5 and MS Office (and other apps) without any change. I have even tried registering the .ocx's manually with RegSrv32 (which says everything is okay) to no avail.
Is there a known fix for this problem? *ANY* suggestions?
