Wyse Winterm is a 'dumb' terminal. It served as a workstation for terminal service/Citrix.

I have completely uninstalled OneCare, and turned off NAV realtime monitor on the server.

>>A customer just upgraded their network from a Citrix server with Winterm workstations to a MS 2000 Server with new Dell Optiplex 170L workstations. The VFP application is now running the SQL Selects 5 to 10 times slower than before. I have installes VFP9 and a copy of the data on the C: drive of my workstation and compared a very simple SQL command versus running on the server. I even loaded VFP on the server to try to compare apples to apples.

>>The network guy told me to replace \\server\fxapp with \\168.192.0.1\fxapp and that would eliminate any DNS issues. It made no difference. I have disables realtime monitoring on the Norton AV on the server, and uninstalled Microsoft OneCare on my workstation. Still only a slight improvement.
