Perry,

It *does* help to have many different resources to turn to for help. There are certainly plenty of knowledgeable people here, but no one knows *everything*!! <g>

I don't even know why I tried to help you with that question as I know *squat* about remoting <g> (we only use Web Services).

~~Bonnie

>Yup. It was the question about remoting. You and Chris McCandless tried to help with no success. In another dotnet forum I received a 2 page answer describing everything I'd ever want to know about installing and testing remoting.

>But the solution was found in a post from someone who spelled out "object URI". It's a tag that you must place inside your web.config file. objecturi. The ending i looked like an l to me. But seeing it capitalized I immediately knew what I had done wrong.

>>>Last thursday I ran into a dotnet issue. It spent probably 5 hours trying to track down a solution. Visited many, many websites dedicated to dotnet problems. Searched messages, searched whitepapers, posted messages, and whatever else you can think of. Didn't have to spend 1 dime.

>>>This is the only website I'm aware of that charges.
