Didn't say that. But I think there are much broader issues here. And in the broader sense, Bush has been a major failure. Something to think about. This isn't exact, but it's pretty close to exact. In the 2006 elections there will be about 14 iraq war veterans running for office. I believe 12 of 14 will be running as democrat.
I don't like to frame issues as democrat vs. republican. But in this case, these veterans feel let down by those making the decisions today.
>>You've framed support for Bush in the context of the middle east. This seems to be the one of 2 places he garners most of his support from. Either folks who for whatever reason, believe the Iraqi was the correct thing to start, or right wing religious fanatics who find joy in bush's constant reference to god.

>Is everything always black and white with you? There are a lot of non-religious people in the US that support Bush. I'm one of them. Oh, but because I think we were right to go into Iraq, I suppose I fall into the other slot.

>I also think we are going to have to eventually deal with Iran. And Syria. And eventually Saudi Arabia. I've thought so for years, at least since the Iranians took over our embassy. But, hey, I'm already a known right-wing nut-job, aren't I?
