what I Do
all files of the aplication in one dictionary
all VFP Runtime files in the same dictionary
if you use ana active X in the same dictionary

copy that on a new mashine where the programm was never used before

if it works
use nstallshield Express (Comes vith VFP) and do a normal instalation
you can add the VFP merge modules but normaly it should work without it

The instalation is more a kind of Xcopy using instaschield
you do not have to register anything!!!

look at a nother nice Product called Molebox
It compiles all Active X, Dll ... and your startexe in one exe and it works
great.
exe is big but no more registration propblem
all programs run from any USB Stick !!!!
