Try 'googling' for some examples of HR applications. I hit the first one I found at http://www.ascentis.com/. On their HR Manager portion of the demo, they have a Delete Employee and Terminate Employee button. Perhaps viewing a handful of demo's will give you a good feeling on which direction you should go. Personally, I like 'Smite' or 'Nuke', but maybe they want something more 'professional' than that. <g>
