>Thanks, George. You're right, we needed the uppercase E in Execute. My boss said, no way....then was surprised at how fast it executed. It seems to go faster than doing the same thing from the explorer, I guess it is because the operation is a direct call....way cool for our app. Thanks again.

I've implemented this in my VFP framework. Many of the reports can be saved to a spreadsheet. I thought it was a nice feature to allow the user to open a newly saved spreadsheet, directly from there rather than having to start the application or use the Explorer. Users seem to like it too.
