Hi Tracy,
I don't want to retrieve the password. I want to pass a username and password and verify that it's valid. I was hoping that there was some form of server object call or API call to accomplish this. I know that IIS and ASP.NET can do this type of thing, but I think it's built in, and was hoping that VFP could as well.
Do you know how to retrieve the AD username? That might point me in the right direction.
Thanks.
>You could certainly retrieve the username but not the password. Allowing programmatic access to passwords in active directory would bypass all security measures and just imagine what programmers could do if they wanted to!
