Seems to me it would be easy to zip up the files and store the zip file as a binary. Then your application could unzip the files if you need them. I have an application that has as many as 18 databases (Sybase ASA) that syncs the data throughout the company. I store the FoxPro EXE file as a blob in the database to distribute new updates. Works well so I don't see a problem with a zip file or even the FRXs either.
