FWIW I don't think Mike was questioning your patriotism at all. It is beyond doubt, and I am not saying that in any way snottily. Mike was just saying, correctly IMO, that we will pay an economic price for generations for our current military adventures. Which, again IMO, are pale shadows compared to WW II. Iraq in particular has been reckless rather than necessary.
