Have look at CodeRep tool here in downloads. ( Download#23173 )
It is class object for writing (OOP) reports in code to various file formats.
Up to now it can do HTML,PDF,XLS,TXT (Free & source code included)

Also, commercial product XFRX V 11.1 came out with XFF scripts capable of doing full size reporting completely in code.

Upcoming version of CodeRep will utilise this possibility and make
writing reports this way very easy. (XFF subclass ready but not released yet)
