Hi Dave.

>Has anyone ever tried saving FRX and FRT files in some kind of SQL Server binary fields and reconstituting them to disk when needed?

Another option is to open the FRX as a table, use CURSORTOXML(), and save the resulting XML. I haven't done this with SQL Server, but I store reports in VFP tables that way.
