Hey CT
Its your favourite "Limey" here <s>.
Its amazing seeing your statement below regarding "dumping VFP". I remember our earliest conversations, probably circa 1997 when I was still hacking around in FPW and you were very enthusiastically into VFP and Codebook and edited/produced the Codebook newsletter. Things seemed very simple then - if I could just get my head around VFP, all would be well <s>. Then, it became a "must" to do SQL server, VB died and .Net came along.
Right now, I am currently involved in a massive VFP/SQL re-write in C#/SQL server, K2.Net, BizTalk and Sharepoint. I really love C# and haven't really touched VFP in quite a while. After all this time, and the many stories about the demise of Fox, I have finally reached a point when it doesn't actually matter to me anymore, after becoming involved with and using other, new technologies. VFP is a wonderful product but, I am having the best fun I have had in years with the .Net technologies. Don't times change!
How is your family? Are you still "quaffing" pints and throwing darts?
Best

>I believe I've finally convinced my company to dump VFP in favor of .NET and use MM.NET for all future development. This of course necessitates some hands on training, both basic and advanced. I've looked at your website but do not see any scheduled classroom training events. Could you possibly divulge some dates so I can plan some training for my department?
