I have checked your proposed program mGetFile() and it looked promissing at the first look because the program has the following parameters:
LPARAMETERS tcFileExtensions, ;
tcText, ;
tcOpenButtonCaption, ;
tnButtonType, ;
tcTitleBarCaption, ;
tlAllowMultiSelect
I hoped a value for the parameter tcOpenButtonCaption would change the default value "Open" on the command button "Open" in the resulting getfile form, but it does not. I do not see what the tcOpenButtonCaption (and also tnButtonType) in the parameter list will do on the form because there is no visual result in the form despite you send values for these parameters.
Sorry to tell but this program did not help me out.
