Right - I remember reading Stratfor a lot, in the years when my country was, ahem, politically interesting. Though they didn't hit it right each time, specially in the predictions part, their analyses were always providing insight. And I really don't see them trying to do any predictions in this article, just pointing out a few trees which were obscured by the media forest. Very good read.
