>This looks like another case of a guy that thought he would be untouchable whatever he did. It's been witnessed with so many others before.

>Oh yeah that's right he did'nt know that his wife (ROFMLAO) was involved in that betting scam.

>My point of view on that story is the following. A guy is poor. Later in his life he gets a door to open and then he makes lots of money. From that money comes power. From that power comes more money. In that process the EGO is always inflating. And then with that mixture of ego, money and power there's a GOD feeling. From that point who knows what happens and why it happens. Some turn good and some turn bad.

>So to me now it's crystal clear. Mario Lemieux is the greatest of all time.

>Oh yeah the olympics. I don't care anymore. Gretzky's still there and he should'nt.
What a crock of crap, Denis.
First, people bet all the time, with no idea that there may be underworld figures involved.
Secondly, he says he never bet and I believe him (always a dangerous thing to do, I know).
Third, there's been no hint that Gretzky himself is involved, other than late in the game asking how to protect his wife.
Now, since Lemieux is from my back yard, I'll go that he's #2. But the Rocket is still #1 here.
cheers
