I'm moving an app to VFP 5.0 from 2.6. The 2.6 version used some workarounds to send reports to a file when needed. I tried the report file to ASCII option in 5.0, but found the columns, etc were all off in the file.
The only way I know to do this is to create an intermediary table that has fields the right, send the data there and then export to a spreadsheet. Is there a simpler way? The problem is that there are too many fields to show in 1 row.
