My problem with Bobby Clarke is the breaking of the USSR's player's leg ON PURPOSE.

I knew that Clarke injured a Soviet player in '72...if that's what you're referring to, I won't defend it. But early in Clarke's career, several players went out of their way to try to take him out. He was definitely a marked man, and that many have led to some of the things he did. (Clarke was a great player, but was definitely Mr. Filthy McNasty at times).
