EngineBehavior setting didn't appear yesterday and it wasn't a secret that there is a number of breaking changes associated with it and it is possible that more will follow. I would understand if we were having this conversation back when VFP8 was just released. But now, several years later, it is pretty obvious that, if professionally developed application relies on particular EngineBehavior setting, the application should include the line of code that sets it. If the app is missing that line of code then it is a bug and the app should be fixed.
