I have posted a question about formsets yesterday and have recieved no response yet. However, I just read an article on the internet that FormSets should be avoided. I know I worked all day and still cannot get my Formset to work properly.

My situation is I would like two forms called by a main form. The main form is a access to all of our Engineering Drawings. The first form contains an edit controls to create an Change Notification to an Engineering Drawing. The second form is a list of Engineering Drawings waiting to be changed.

I would like the main form to remain loaded. The first and second called form to appear together and set to modal. I don't even know if this is possible.

My trouble with the formset is if the formset is set to modal the second form is shown but not enabled.
