Hi Grady,
I'm just taking a stab here. Did you follow all precautions for Windows 2000 outlined in the readme.txt provided with the Zip that you download to install ActiveVFP?
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
**Important Note: APPLY THE LATEST SERVICE PACK FOR YOUR OS!

Note: If you can't apply latest SP on Win2k for whatever reason
Windows 2000 SP1 and Windows 2000 No Service Pack: There is a problem in the setup of
"Write" rights for some ActiveVFP directories that is a result of a bug in Windows 2000 SP1 and
Windows 2000 No Service Pack as outlined in the KB article:
http://support.microsoft.com/support/kb/articles/Q268/5/46.ASP. SP2 fixes the problem.

To workaround this bug, please follow these directions:

For <install directory>\data\AVFPdemo2,
<install directory>\ErrorLog\AVFPdemo2,
<install directory>\AVFPdemo2r\Temp, and
<install directory>\Temp, follow these instructions :

1.) Right click the folder name in Windows Explorer and view the security properties.

2.) If this problem affects you, you will receive a message that says:
"The Permissions on Folder are incorrectly ordered, which may cause some entries
to be ineffective."

3.) Click on OK to order the permissions correctly.

4.) Immediately run IISRESET from the Windows command line.

5.) "Write" rights for the directories listed above should now be in effect.
