Yep! chr(14)+"My text" prints "My text" on wide fonts...
I'm asking to epson too, so, when i have the solution i'll give it to you..
The lx-300 and lx-300+ doesn´t have any DIP switches, the setting is made with a combination of the printer's buttons and it's really a PITA...
>I can't test, we no longer have any Epson, but we have the printer book. I looked in the book again, and the double-hight mode escape sequence chr(27)+chr(119), has an extra parameter "1" or "0" to turn on/off.
>Does any escape sequences, like chr(14), work? It's a long time since I last used these things, but there are also escape sequences to initialize the printer mode, and DIP switches on the printer that had to do with graphics, too bad I can't just give you the book...

>>>Yes, try to turn double hight on with chr(119) before sending the double height code.
