Detroit Area Fox User Group (DAFUG) presents:
"Advanced SQL Queries in VFP 9.0"
By Andy Kramek of Tightline Computers
Thursday February 16, 2006
- "Advanced SQL Queries in VFP 9.0"
As Visual FoxPro developers we are all very familiar with using Structured Query Language (SQL) to retrieve, add, update and delete data from a database. However we often forget that SQL is an extremely powerful and potent weapon in our developer's arsenal. The purpose of this session is to illustrate some more advanced techniques involving SQL that can be implemented directly in Visual FoxPro Version 9.0 including Correlated and Uncorrelated Queries, Derived Tables and Computed Columns. Some of the techniques illustrated here may also work in earlier versions of Visual FoxPro but not all.
- Open discussion and the other normal chatter of tips and tricks.
- Anything else people want to talk about.
Hope to see you there.
