Yes. They were a much better band live than on their records, which weren't too bad, either. I saw them exactly once, when they opened for the Eagles at Foxboro Stadium in 1975. Their white album hadn't entirely busted out yet and the chat in the audience was oh yeah, they're an old English blues band, but Peter Green left. They came out and absolutely blew the Eagles off the stage, preemptively. The revelation was Lindsay Buckingham. That guy can wail. On record they always cut him off at 8 bars, but in concert.... I will never hear "Blue Letter" the same way. What an act. The Eagles didn't know what hit them.
