For a band that was only together two years, Buffalo Springfield led to a lot of bands. Not only CSN (and later Y) but also Poco, Loggins and Messina, and Souther-Hillman-Furay. "For What It's Worth" will be listened to for as long as music is played on the radio.

Now that I think of it, I wouldn't be surprised if that song has been mentioned in all the Dick Cheney hoopla --

There's something happening here
