I am creating a Web Forms Application. Do you think they display that way because of the OleDB driver?

Is there a quick way to display a message in a Web App? I want to validate the user entry in my CustomerOrders screen which is just like the one in the MM JumpStart. If something is not right, I would like to display a quick error dialog and return focus back to the textbox for them to re-enter the search criteria.
