Agree.

As the resources of VFP are out of VFP code control, you are convict.

You have some ways:
- to go away from VFP ( this is hard )
- build 3XXXXX of image files ( this is soft ), and to maintain they ( this is hard )
- simplified this ( little ) and put images into a table,
write a maintain application and use pictureVal.
- to go into GDI+ world.
