The bottom line is that when you see asterisks, it means the field is not wide enough for what needs to be printed. For example, if a number has a picture of "999" and the actual value is only 1, FoxPro still needs to have the field wide enough to fit "999".

Check to see that the format is set to numeric ... and define a picture mask for the number. If the field is set as character, it would default to left-align instead of right-align like a number needs. This may be why you can't get the number to line up with the header.
