David,
>Hi, I have a security requriment from my customer (state goverment). We're building a TAX Application. But they're asking me not to show the connecction string as a plain text, they need it encrypted.
>So my question is...Is there a way in the MM.NET to do this task?
There is...check out the MM .NET Dev Guide topic "Application Settings Classes" for details.
>P.S.: Kevin is there an UML CLASS DIAGRAM for the whole MM.NET?. I think this would help me a lot in order to understand the framework.
There isn't a single diagram, because there are over 300 different MM .NET classes. However, if you are using Visual Studio 2005, you can do the following:
1. Open an MM .NET source code project
2. Right-click the project and select
View Class Diagram from the shortcut menu
This adds all classes in the project to the class diagram, including their inheritance relationships.
