Makes sense to me :-)

But try to come up to Bucharest on the 25th of March. I'd like to meet you and Venelina.

>>VFP is not a strategic product for MS and, therefore, any official support will be "iffy". The way this worked is that Grigore managed to line up sponsors to foot the bills. So we didn't have to ask MS for much.
>>
>>A full conference is probably out of the question, but I think Grigore has pioneered a model where 1 or 2 experts from the U.S. could speak in Romania, Bulgaria, or wherever.
>>
>>Again, I urge you and Venelina to email me and let's find a way to get U.S. speakers to Bulgaria.

>It depend also how firm work with local MS. Last year for the first time they mention VFP in BG newspapers. They are extremely appreciate Kens presentations last year DevDays. Venelina show them some hints how will look like DB development after 2 years with Orcas(VS2007) in Vista using XAML and XML during ISV Community Days. I hope that at least one session in any Sofia DevDays will be for VFP. MS BG team started to understand that VFP way of working used in .Net and SQL Server open other world for programmers. I am glad that Venelina showed this them.
>I doubt that in BG will be organized conference especialy for VFP. Why? There is 2 major centers in BG - Sofia and Varna. And 3-4 bigger firms which flagship for development is VFP. My firm and Microcomplex are well presented in UT. Both firms train well their staff and when some of them move to other firm they already know how to get access to newerst in VFP.
>Those who like to visit conferences has this posibility in Prague and Frankfurt. It doesn't worth to make event for 20-30 persons from around 200 developers BG VFP community.
>my 2 cents
