I can not find any refernce to the error:

"Cursor cannot be modified because it contains an unsaved record...."

In the VFP HELP and don't know what it really means and how to best get rid of it.

I don't want to issue TABLEUPDATE(.T.) before the User is ready to SAVE the changes.

I thought it was OK to have an unsaved record while modifying the table. That is why you issue TABLEUPDATE(.T.) to SAVE those changes.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
