So are you thinking it could be possible that the Error 5 did not originate in the 'read events' call(anything makes more sense than that) but rather on an object that did not initialize or release properly? I'm a little confused as to why the error wouldn't come from that init() or destroy() method rather than coming from this method whose sitting on 'read events'.
