I am working with a triggered table named planning. I am programmtically updating a record in this table with values which is firing the trigger. The stored procedure on the DBC for this trigger creates a record in another table called Events (by selecting that table). The stored procedure when it completes returns to the previously selected planning table;

The program which is updating the record in planning then loses control as the currently selected table is events not planning which has been caused by the trigger. This happens before the stored procedure returns control to the program.

Can anybody help me?

Many Thanks
