I do not believe that you Error is related to the “Opening this will run the following SQL command”. I have gotten the "opening" message and had to make registry changes in all out Word 2002 SP3 and Word 2003 desktops but have not gotten your OLE Error.

Try just opening your Word Mail Merge document from Word with a data source that you know has records. Or try creating a new Word document from within word and attaching your dbf at the data source.

>The mailmerge had been working fine until we began using Windows XP and Office 2003. Now, when the following line runs (oDoc.MailMerge.Execute()), VFP is generating an error message:

>Error 1429:OLE IDispatch exception code from Microsoft Word: Word could not merge the main document with the data source because the data records were empty or no data records matched your query options...' in method tablemerge at line 87.
