I havn't said this previously, but I am sorry to see you leaving the VFP fold, but good luck on your next position. I agree with your point that those put the effort into the project should control what they work on (I would not expect those guys to put a lot of work into upgrading Claude tool) but if Claude wants to donate it and they do not have to do any work to make it useful, whats the harm. And true anybody can start their own forum/wiki/collection of VFP resources, but does it really make sence to fracture the community more? I thought the point of this project was to give the VFP community someplace to rally around and grow as MS backs away.

PS: Our new Philly FUG could really use a headliner if your going to be out on the east coast sometime :)

The people who put the most time in a project can decide what they want to spend their time on voluntarily. Anyone who thinks about complaining about this topic should direct their time and effort on helping create a new project that includes what components and contributions they want to be involved in helping evolve, that is how successful shared and open source projects succeed.
