I have no reason not to believe that torture is still not occurring today. I just finished reading an article in this months "New Yorker" about a couple of lawyers within the gov't who saw the authorizing of torture as a hugh mistake. And of the walls they ran into.
The article discusts me. It painta an ugly picture of those who've been elected and their attempts to circumvent the constitution.
The only hope is for democrats to win the majority in nov. elections. So impeachment proceedings can begin.
