One possible question to pose to folks like yourself advocating free open source projects around web development in VFP is... Why haven't you already created and contributed to an open VFP web development tool project, and what is stopping you working on one now?

I'm picturing going to a facility whose owner has put up a sign saying "Grocery", and asking for milk, and being told the grocer doesn't just load every imaginable good into his store so if I want milk, how come I haven't got a cow?

May I remind you that the sign above the SednaX facility says "A Visual FoxPro Community effort to create open source add-ons for Visual FoxPro 9.0." If you're saying that the word "A" means that there may be many such Community (with a capital "C") efforts, each run by a handful of volunteers, then that's a shame and I don't think that's been the general understanding until now. And nor do I think that asking about web stuff is inappropriate in a facility with that label, or that it is constructive to greet such requests by telling people to get their own cow. But we can agree to disagree.
"... They ne'er cared for us
yet: suffer us to famish, and their store-houses
crammed with grain; make edicts for usury, to
support usurers; repeal daily any wholesome act
established against the rich, and provide more
piercing statutes daily, to chain up and restrain
the poor. If the wars eat us not up, they will; and
there's all the love they bear us.
"
-- Shakespeare: Coriolanus, Act 1, scene 1
