I am trying to print labels (not bar code - just carton labels) to a zebra s600 printer. I had this working last week.. but something changed or broke.

vfp 8 label designer. Using the zdesigner s600 driver. Printing a test page from the windows driver works. I am using direct thermal, no ribbon.

When I try to print to the printer I get blank labels.. the correct number but blank - e.g. I tell my app to print 1 it prints one blank, I tell it to print 2, it prints 2 blanks. 4x6 labels,in landscape.

I am wondering whether it (the printer) thinks it is to supposed print with a ribbon? The driver is setup for direct thermal.. so I'm not sure why this would be a problem.

zebra's own diagnostic test bar code labels print fine.
