I still don't see the difference between something going into SednaX without any contributors to enhance the code versus something being online for free already.

If SednaX is a "Community exercise" for VFP people to create open-source addons, you could reasonably expect that Claude's offering would have Claude and a kernel of fans working at it from day 1. If it proves really cool, the numbers of "contributors" would presumably grow. That's what I thought this was about. If you're saying it's actually only about a trio of "volunteers" who own the whole SednaX project and will be doing all the work, what the heck have we all signed up for?!
"... They ne'er cared for us
yet: suffer us to famish, and their store-houses
crammed with grain; make edicts for usury, to
support usurers; repeal daily any wholesome act
established against the rich, and provide more
piercing statutes daily, to chain up and restrain
the poor. If the wars eat us not up, they will; and
there's all the love they bear us.
"
