Can you explain why you think it is better for ActiveVFP to be part of SednaX rather than it's own open project?

I've already said that I was under the (apparently mistaken) impression that SednaX was the "Community" (with a capital "C") initiatve for creating add-ons. Web seemed a "natural" to me for reasons that have been covered in detail. we were told that a web offering was rejected for reasons that I found bizarre. That's where it began.

I think ActiveVFP would evolve and success as an open source project better if it was it's own project, following the pattern of typical open source projects that can be identified as successful. If you think otherwise, please explain.

I think we need one "SednaX" rather than a extra "SednaY" or a series of potentially conflicting, disconnected community efforts. VFP has repeatedly distinguished itself by strong community. Why fragment it.

Look, a rational reason has now been supplied for the rejection. Claude either can or can't overcome the issue. That's the end of it.
"... They ne'er cared for us
yet: suffer us to famish, and their store-houses
crammed with grain; make edicts for usury, to
support usurers; repeal daily any wholesome act
established against the rich, and provide more
piercing statutes daily, to chain up and restrain
the poor. If the wars eat us not up, they will; and
there's all the love they bear us.
