Colin, I have been using Pair.com for almost 10 years, and for my experience they are great. They are well known for reliability and profesionalism, their uptimes are outstanding, and their infrastructure is redundant and based in the States. They only work with FreeBSD, so if you plan tou host your site in Windows they are not an option.
